koelsch haus + Hope Stone = Way Kool

Join us for an art mixology moment as we kick off the summer in a Way Kool way for a way cool cause. It’s an evening of visual art, dance, a homecoming king & queen, an awesome band, and snow cones all blending for a groovy art happening that benefits Hope Stone’s arts education outreach programs.

Franny Koelsch, owner of koelsch haus/gallery, offers a lively curated show of art works and Jane Weiner, president and artistic director of Hope Stone, serves up a site-specific performance work “something brilliant here” featuring dancers Kelly Myernick, Travis Polkop, Seth McPhail, and percussionist Kirk Suddreath. It’s a hip evening with the Ezra Charles Band, choice cheeses from Houston Dairymaids, and the crowning of our Way Kool Homecoming King & Queen Jeff Shell and Beth Muecke – a royal Texas coronation for sure.

All ticket proceeds and 15% of all gallery art sales will directly fund Hope Stone’s arts education outreach programs Hope Stone Kids and The Hope Project.

$30 online purchase until 3pm day of event | $35 at the door
